India's Leading Examination Board for Indian Art & Culture
Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art is a premier Examination Board for Indian Art & Culture, dedicated to preserving, promoting and empowering India's rich cultural heritage through quality education and standardised examinations.
Our Board conducts examinations and awards certificates to students in a wide range of cultural disciplines — including Music, Dance, Painting, Fine Arts, Yoga, Drama, Instrumental Music, Recitation, Beautician and many other creative subjects. Our mission is to recognise talent, encourage creativity, and provide students with a strong academic and artistic foundation through a structured examination system.
To make quality cultural education accessible to every aspiring artist in India.
We don't create copyists — we nurture creators, innovators and future ambassadors of Indian art.
Mrs. Suman Saini, a passionate art educator, envisions an organisation that would preserve Indian art and culture for future generations, and lays the foundation of the institution.
She entrusts her vision to Dr. Koushik Sinha and Dr. Praveen Sinha. Starting with only two students, Dr. Koushik Sinha overcomes every challenge with determination, dedication and the invaluable support of his family — especially Mr. Jagdish Saini.
The graded syllabus is formalised across music, dance, painting, fine arts, yoga, drama and vocational streams. Empanelled examiners are trained, and affiliations begin spreading beyond Punjab.
Dr. Koushik Sinha receives the State Award, Best Artist Award and Best Teacher Award. Students begin representing the institution at state, national and international levels.
Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art connects thousands of students, teachers and examination centres, promoting Indian art and culture on a truly national scale.
Over the years the organisation has successfully conducted numerous cultural programmes, exhibitions, workshops, competitions, seminars and examinations. Its students have represented the institution at State, National and International levels, earning recognition and inspiring countless young artists.
A family of educators whose dedication turned a small dream into one of India's respected cultural examination organisations.
The visionary who laid the foundation of the institution in 1999, driven by a lifelong devotion to preserving Indian art and culture for future generations.
Recipient of the State Award, Best Artist Award and Best Teacher Award. Began with just two students and built the board into a nationwide movement through sheer determination.
Fine Arts postgraduate and university topper. Architect of the board's innovative teaching methodology and its academic excellence framework.
Drives the board's nationwide centre network, examiner training and year-round cultural programming across 22 states.
A pillar of support through the institution's formative years, whose guidance shaped its values of integrity and service.
Every syllabus we write begins with the question: does this carry Indian tradition forward honestly?
Theory and practical are marked independently. A candidate in a village sits the same paper as one in a metro.
We assess composition, interpretation and voice — not the ability to reproduce a model answer.
Affordable fees, centres in small towns, and a foundation programme that starts at age four.
Certificates are issued only on merit. Our credibility with parents and colleges is the asset we protect hardest.
Affiliated centres receive syllabi, training and academic support so the whole ecosystem rises together.
We don't create copyists — we nurture creators, innovators and future ambassadors of Indian Art & Culture.
