Classical & Light Music
Hindustani vocal, light music, bhajan and folk singing examined across eight graded levels.

Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art is a premier examination board for Indian art & culture, dedicated to preserving, promoting and empowering India's rich heritage through quality education and standardised examinations.
The foundation of this institution was laid in 1999 by Mrs. Suman Saini, a passionate art educator. She entrusted her vision to Dr. Koushik Sinha and Dr. Praveen Sinha, who transformed a small dream — beginning with only two students — into one of India's most respected cultural examination organisations.
Every element of our examination framework exists to do one thing — give genuine talent a structure it can grow inside, and a credential the world takes seriously.
Every successful candidate receives a marks-sheet and certificate issued under the board's seal — accepted for school credits, scholarships and teaching eligibility.
From Prarambhik through Praveshika, Madhyama, Visharad and Alankar — a clear ladder that turns interest into mastery over years, not weeks.
Assessments are conducted by trained, independent examiners. Theory papers and live practicals are marked separately for full transparency.
3,500+ affiliated centres across 22 states mean a candidate in Srinagar and one in Pune sit the very same paper.
National art competitions, cultural evenings, exhibitions and workshops give students a stage far beyond the exam hall.
Affiliated centres receive full syllabi, question-paper patterns, examiner training and year-round academic support.
Music, dance, painting, fine arts, yoga, drama, instrumental music, recitation, beautician and many other creative subjects — each with its own graded syllabus.
Hindustani vocal, light music, bhajan and folk singing examined across eight graded levels.
